Diversity x WUM
The multicultural initiative of the English Division: cultural evenings, the concert, and the spring Culture Festival.
About
An initiative for a multicultural society at WUM, started in 2023 by English Division and English Dentistry Division students from more than 70 countries, under IFMSA-Poland Warsaw. Built around country boards: each country or region has representatives who bring their culture to the stage.
The year runs through cultural evenings (Holi, Nowruz, Eid ul-Fitr, Diwali), the Open Day stand, the Cultural Concert at Club Oczki in May, and the Culture Festival and Cultural Showcase at the Banacha campus, which in 2026 ran for the fourth time. The 2026/27 edition (5.0) opened recruitment in mid-October.
Founded in 2023 by president Pratheeba Kumaravel. Coordinated in 2024/25 by Ananya Saha and Sogol Yourdkhani, and in 2025/26 by Sogol Yourdkhani as main coordinator. Supported by the Faculty of Medicine, the English Division Student Government and IFMSA-Poland Warsaw. The festival runs every May.
