About
The Polish Red Cross academic circle at WUM, registered as Akademickie Koło PCK: mobilising the university community in a humanitarian spirit, with students joining the Red Cross’s nationwide campaigns. Volunteering initiatives, educational workshops and events in the community. Register through the form; the WhatsApp group is for registered members.
In 2022, the circle did street medicine with the Ambulans z Serca foundation: patrols caring for people experiencing homelessness in Warsaw (chronic wound care, referrals), a clinic at the Żytnia Street crisis centre, and the Sunday aid event at Central Station. Twenty-eight students had volunteered by early 2022.
